Common Rail Fuel Filtration The requirement to reduce diesel particulate emissions 95% by 2007 is driving the trend toward common rail fuel systems in North America and Europe. The systems generate two to three times higher line pressure and flow rates, and significantly higher injector pressure. These factors will place new demands on fuel filtration -- requiring higher capacity and water emulsion removal rates.
